Apple cider vinegar as a pre-workout?


Few months ago, a trainer at the gym I go to told me about the benefits of apple cider vinegar for my body and how it can help me in my workout sessions.

So, I started researching and I decided to give it a shot after reading all of the benefits. I started by taking 2 table spoons of apple sider vinegar before my workout session, of course I must admit the taste was awful so I added water to it or you can add honey to sweeten it.


The first thing I noticed is that I was sweating like crazy and I had energy that lasted for hours because apple cider vinegar contains malic acids that increases energy through the breakdown of fat calories.

Researchers say that malic acid in apple cider vinegar also increases energy through its ability to dissolve toxins that can cause fatigue and weakness.

But there are an endless number of benefits to taking apple cider vinegar for your health in general:

  • Helps control blood sugar.
  • Improves bone health.
  • Improves digestion.
  • Prevents and fights cancer.
  • Boosts energy.
  • Reduces cholesterol.
  • PH Balancing.
  • Muscles cramp prevention.

Of course, don’t just buy any apple cider vinegar on the shelf, make sure its organic, raw and unpasteurized. If you can’t drink it you can add 2 table spoons to  your salad or any dish to make sure your still incorporating it in your diet.
